Brewed in the town of Minoh and carefully crafted by hand, this local beer comes from a brewery in Osaka’s northern foothills. Minoh Beer has garnered high praise at numerous international competitions, winning multiple gold medals.

Bring happiness with the Billiken Beer set! The can depicts Billiken, the famous good‑luck statue from Shinsekai, together with the Minoh waterfall. This Weizen, brewed with wheat malt, offers a fruity aroma reminiscent of banana and clove from the Weizen yeast. Its gentle fragrance, refreshing finish and soft mouthfeel make it addictive. Perfect with Osaka soul‑foods such as kushikatsu, okonomiyaki and takoyaki.

Billiken was created in 1908 by American artist Florence Pretz after a dream she had. This charming figure became hugely popular in Japan in 1912, starting in Shinsekai where Tsutenkaku stands. It is said that rubbing the soles of Billiken’s feet will make your wishes come true.
